Batson-Cook Construction of West Point, Georgia, began the now-annual “Honor Bus Tour” in 2009, the year in which it completed construction of the 190,000-square-foot museum dedicated to the U.S. Army Infantry Soldier. Since that time, some hundreds of veterans from the local region have participated in the event. During construction of the museum, employees at Batson-Cook came to appreciate our nation's veterans more than ever, and even wrote a project-specific mission statement to express the team's dedication to the very special project and the people it would honor. Simply put, this event was born out of a deep sense of pride and gratitude for the men and women who have served our country.
The annual event is open to all veterans, regardless of their branch of service or eras served.
